Patch for Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows Workstations 5.0


The patch adds an ability to scan wmf-files in Real-time protection mode - previously the files of such types were considered not subject to being infected and were not scanned in this mode.

The patch is applicable to Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows Workstations starting from version 5.0.157. It is recommended to install it on version 5.0.225, 5.0.227.

The patch replaces avlib.ppl, and does not change the product version. You must have Administrator privileges in order to install the patch. After the installation your operating system must be restarted (prompt for action is displayed).


Патч добавляет проверку wmf-файлов Антивирусом в режиме Постоянной защиты - ранее файлы таких типов считались неподверженными заражению и в этом режиме не проверялись.

Патч применим к Антивирусу Касперского для рабочих станций начиная с версии 5.0.157. Рекомендован к установке на версии 5.0.225, 5.0.227.

Патч заменяет avlib.ppl, версию продукта не меняет. Для запуска требуются права администратора. После установки требуется перезагрузка ОС (выдается запрос пользователю).
